Jordan L. Kaplan
President & Chief Executive Officer

Mr. Kaplan is the
Chief Executive Officer and President for Douglas Emmett, Inc.
He is also a member of the Board of Directors of DEI. Mr. Kaplan
is responsible for overseeing all of DEI’s capital markets
activities, as well as property acquisitions and dispositions.
He joined DEI’s predecessor company, Douglas, Emmett and Company
in 1986 and co-founded Douglas Emmett Realty Advisors in 1991,
which grew during the 1990’s into a large manager of
institutional real estate funds. Mr. Kaplan received his
bachelor's degree from the University of California, Santa
Barbara in 1983 and his M.B.A. from the University of
California, Los Angeles in 1986. |
